Straight spokes

The SV 650 rim of the first series from 1999 to 2002 has a 3,5 inch rim for a front tyre size 120.

This rim fits Plug & Play into the RGV fork, you only need to dismount the RGV front wheel, change the brake disc and remount the SV 650 rim into the RGV fork.

That’s all and it looks like this:

Twisted spokes

The rims of the RF 600 and the GSX 400 RR have a 3,5 inch rim for a front tyre size 120.

These rims fit Plug & Play into the original RGV fork, you only need to dismount the RGV front wheel, change the brake disc and remount the rim into the fork.

That’s all and it looks like this:

VFR rim

The rims of the VFR fit into the RGV USD fork after changing the wheel bearings. The brake discs of the VFR have to be used, too, and you need an adapter for the brake calliper mount.

The wheel bearings of the Suzuki GSX 1100 F are those in front on the left. The spacer between the wheel bearings will have to be turned new and adapted to the diameter of the wheel axle of 17 mm.

Furthermore the left and right spacers will have to be made new respecting the centring. We did not test the use of an analogue speedometer-drive, as we built in a digital speedometer.

The rim measures 3,5 x 17 and a front tyre size 120 can be mounted. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of the completed customisation.

The rim in the RGV fork looks like this then:
