Production tolerances

Production tolerances are the enemy of every customiser! Even more annoying is the fact, that SUZUKI seems to have quite a big range of production tolerances.
It can happen, that in one GS frame a Bandit rocker fits with loads of give, fits snuggly or it does not fit at all - the same obviously appears to 2 different GS rockers in one GS frame.
All our conversions can fit - but they don't have to necessarily!

Especially the welded parts (e.g. frame, rocker) have huge tolerances.

The casted parts don't vary as much, but they do.

Turned parts differ just very slightly - but to have parts matching 100% is rare.

The rear fairings are subjected to big differences as well, we even discovered optical differences. It is quite possible that the machines producing the parts wore out over time - the GS was made several 100,000 times between 1989 and 2000 without any changes of the form.
